yea i think if i had an mpc or mv-8k or somkething, i'd use those a lot more often, especially the mpc, because of it's portability. -

i don't know if it's been asked already, but howcome sometimes randomly, the piano roll and playlist turn on this "auto snap" feature, with places the steps perfectly in time of the beat? do you know what i'm saying? i need to know how to turn this "auto-snap" on and off. thanks! and... -

Just copped the new MAudio Oxygen 8
i actually play keyboard, and the oxygen only has 25 keys or so. i've heard that it's awesome, but the range is just way too small for me. -
Your favorite software to make beats?
i haven't gone yet. i like FL the best because it's simple and complex, and you can do everything with it. except save presets on vst's, which i'm sure there's a way. -
Is this considered sampling or is it composing?
like bcthadon said, i consider sampling to be chopping up a melody or bassline, or instrumentation that you did not create. composing is arranging melodies and basslines and blah. -
I dont know whats better
m-audio. should be the default in midi-anything. ever or standard. that's what i meant. m-audio should be the standard in midi. -
interfaces:usb or pci?
i have a presonus firebox, and i must say that the sound quality is amazing, but i'd get a pci, because it's probably faster in response. -

i use cool edit(audition) because it's less intimidating, and i don't have pro tools. yet. -
New Software
i said FL6 just cus i have it, but you should get reason if you have a trigger finger. but the good thing about FL is that you can use vst's. can't do that with reason. boo -
