The Four Owls - Not Like Before (JustIn Flow Remix)

Oh man, thank you so much. That's a huge compliment!

Afu-Ra & Gentleman - Why Cry (JustIn Flow Remix)

Thank you for listening and the feedback. Overall, I wasn't completely satisfied with the instrumental and the remix myself, but in the end I left it that way because I already started a new project. The one with the change should bring in a little Raggae/Dancehall elements. But that hasn't...

Thank you both for the positive feedback! Yes, unfortunately, the mixing does not always run smoothly. But I'm trying to get a better handle on it.

I like the drums, the snare and the incoming strings. But something is missing for me personally. Something that gives the whole thing more character. Keep going ;)

    What gear is everybody rocking?

A slightly older, but still powerful PC with a large 32" 21:9 monitor and an Akai MPK249 DAW controller to control FL Studio. Superlux HD668B headphones (very cheap but great linear sound) and Presonus Eris E3.5.

I don't know how you produce beats in general, but I prefer sampling. So, these samples (usually from other pieces of music) already contain a variety of instruments. If you then break them down into small parts, remix, layer and process them with compression etc. you get something new. As a...

Violince (I did some serious rework to my last Beat This! submission and I'd like some feedback)

Overall, that already sounds very good. We'll done. I particularly like the structure in the length and the good mix. For my taste, the snare should be a little more powerful (not louder, but a little more saturated). In the middle I find partly a bit too much. This could possibly be loosened...

Oh, hell yeah! I've been doing beats just for me as a hobby for too long. Would be great if someone makes something out of it or just have fun by using for freestyle!

Thanks for the feedback. When I've made a beat, I think about which artist could go well with it and then look for a corresponding acapella version. In general, I'm working on defining the sounds a little more clearly. I agree with you there.

Thank you! I am not sure if I have understood it correctly. Do you mean because of legal things by publishing a remix or the beats in generally? But thanks for the tip!

Hello everybody, I am JustIn Flow from Germany. I make beats out of passion and started in the mid 90's (with "Music" on Playstation 1 ). I love the classic sound and sampling. That's what I do. I'm glad to have found this forum where like-minded people meet and exchange ideas. So...
