This flick may not suck ass,,,,

I want to see it just because of Kevin Spacey! They will never be able to top the 1st Superman movie. Even with all the CGI. That junk right there is a classic! It's gonna be interesting to see how Bryan Singer flips this one. I hate all the romantic junk though...bring on the action FOOL!!!

Alright this is seriously getting outta hand

That, my friends is called "corporate hip hop". There is a rich man sitting behind a desk that is dictating to us what rappers are supposed to look & sound like and what women (black women particularly) are worth. This image sells $$$$$$$. The more $ the more you hear this crap and the more...

    Apple PowerMac G3

Straight! Here's what you do....get that bad boy and then later, upgrade the processor/motherboard to a G4 and then get your bang on!!! Gear/software wise what are you working with? May I ask?

    Apple PowerMac G3

Yeah, I have worked on G3s and I have a G4 and I don't have many problems. I'm a Mac-head anyways! LOL!!! To me, they are much easier to understand and if there is an issue, I can go in and fix it pretty easily. Does it come with that "big 'ol" white & blue monitor?

    Apple PowerMac G3

I feel ya! If they are real cheap then shoot, get one! I would. But that's because I'm a graphic designer too.

    Apple PowerMac G3

That depends, what do you want to do (production wise)? The G3s might not have the processing power you will need to run say, Logic or Cubase. I think you might be able to run ProTool Digi001 system on it (maybe). G4's can run ProTools I know. Determine what your needs are at this moment...

    What about Cubase?

I good friend of mine swares by Cubase. He uses it on all his tracks because of the VSTs and all that. It's cheeper than ProTools plus it has VSTs which ProTools (for it's high price) does not.

    Buy a iMac or PC?

MP3 is right on the money here. If I may add one more thing to think about, do you work in FL to make beats, SoundForge? If so, then you'll have no other choice but to go the PC route since there is no version of FL for Mac and I don't think there is a version of SoundForge for your sample...

    My first MAJOR engineering session!!

Yeah man, that's tight! Persistance is key huh? After you've been grinding for so long, it becomes a vital part of who you are. If you were to quit at the times you did, it would have been like not breathing anymore. Making beats and engineering is a necessity for you because you were born...

10 dollar mastering? Can it be True?

Somehow, the saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind here.

    Adding a bass guitar?

I've used it on some new junk. It came out real nice. If you can find an "real" sounding bass guitar patch that incorporates all the charictaristics of real bass playing, you should use it. I've got a CD Rom that has multisampled guitars and basses and when played correctly, you cannot tell...

    Mpc

I'm in total agreement with Misscc803. You will want one with the 8 outputs on it! Believe me, when you go into the studio, you will want those 8 outputs when droping your drum tracks and samples. You don't want to have 16 different drum & samples going into protools (or whatever you/the...
