How can i move wave sounds on Cool Edit?
I do believe you right click and hold the wav file and you should be able to move it. -

Yeah, I have worked on G3s and I have a G4 and I don't have many problems. I'm a Mac-head anyways! LOL!!! To me, they are much easier to understand and if there is an issue, I can go in and fix it pretty easily. Does it come with that "big 'ol" white & blue monitor? -

That depends, what do you want to do (production wise)? The G3s might not have the processing power you will need to run say, Logic or Cubase. I think you might be able to run ProTool Digi001 system on it (maybe). G4's can run ProTools I know. Determine what your needs are at this moment... -

What about Cubase?
I good friend of mine swares by Cubase. He uses it on all his tracks because of the VSTs and all that. It's cheeper than ProTools plus it has VSTs which ProTools (for it's high price) does not. -

MP3 is right on the money here. If I may add one more thing to think about, do you work in FL to make beats, SoundForge? If so, then you'll have no other choice but to go the PC route since there is no version of FL for Mac and I don't think there is a version of SoundForge for your sample... -

I'm in total agreement with Misscc803. You will want one with the 8 outputs on it! Believe me, when you go into the studio, you will want those 8 outputs when droping your drum tracks and samples. You don't want to have 16 different drum & samples going into protools (or whatever you/the...
