    its not that overrated. depends on what you major in. some people go to college and major in math or english. i think thats pointless unless you want to be a teacher. but most people who do that end up having a cubicle job that got nothing to do with their degree. now thats pointless

    I got laid off today.

    damn that sucks. i never got laid off but i did quit a job where my boss was just an ass. i got a job the next week though. didnt pay as much but it gave me some experience in the hospital setting which is what im getting into anyway. it also gave me more time for music. so.... hit those boards...

    Major or Indie?

    depending on the price and the type of deal, i would definitely go with a major. but being with an indie label when you're just starting can have its benefits too. maybe you can demand artistic freedom when you sign with an indie if you have enough following.
