    I think it's a little bit over the top, I think the two major factors are: 1. budget - if a song is decent, simple, nice melody, and has a big marketing campaing behind it, and gets a lot of plays, it'll get big no matter how simple/average it is to people who live and breathe music (illfam)...

    IMO, you can't have it both ways, either post the beats with some structure and have all the beats up at one time, so everyone gets feedback, or have some post early, some post late, some get feedback, some don't (i.e. the way it is now). All the tools are right there to start up the way...
