    anyone try garritan orchestra?

I got the "Classic Orchestra" from soundsonline. I did'n t get as much use out of it as planned, but I squeezed out a few bangers. I said I would never buy another Disc from them but that "Symphonic Orchestra" sounds like a good buy from the demo I just listened to. THANKS, ANDREAS!

Audition OR Forge? and 1 other thing

If you're gonna use ACID, you want to use SF. When I chop my loops in Audition, they do not get cropped correctly. But audition comes with some serious plugs and recording tools...Shit! I use both!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here. Mine freezes at certain points. 4 Never gave me a problem. If it had the "reverse" feature, I would reload it. It does seem that sonar & live produced tracks sound better. But I'm still rollin' with my product.

How do you, vinyl heads, find your samples?

I listen to a lot of old or obscure music anyway. I find artists I like then study them and their discogrophy and to what other artists they may be linked. Then when I dig I have SOME Idea of what I running across.

    Acid Users

I find myself arguing and defending my choice of sequencer almost daily. A "friend" that deal with on the regular says that ACID is not a REAL sequencer.... I say BULLSHIT!!! I would Like to find out how many producers/beatmakers here use ACID and which version.

    FL 6 v.s acidpro50c?

yeah... you could. But you wanted a "stand alone" sequencer, right? With ACID there is no need to rewire. ( Although I have rewired to Ableton Live once or twice)

    FL 6 v.s acidpro50c?

anyone sell beats at beat trader?

AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn it's so hard! My best years of track selling was 92-97. Satisfying customers was easy. All you needed was some wahs and some basslines. Presently, I sell to a few small (micro) labels who pay me with Bus, Motel & Food accomodations with just enough left...

    drums in your sample

What I do( this works 80% of the time) is cut out the snare in the sample. Go to a portion of the sample where there is minimal or no drum work. Then sample that portion and drop in the empty snare spot.
