@Iron Keys Um it was just a break beat that I chopped up. I ran a channel strip on it, increased the high and low shelf gain on it, pitched it down a couple semi's. Played with the transient shaper a bit. I wanted a heavier more lumbering grittier feel over the lighthearted flute sound.

I used one the presets which was quarter attack which put the heaviness on the whole drum track but I also layered the kick itself with a low end kick I made which gave the kick that punch
