i do whatever makes the finished product sound better...weather its sampled, keyboard or both. personally i juz love the idea that i have thoses choices rather than juz one or the other.
i dont rush my beats...if i make one good beat every two weeks then dats better than a bunch of crappy beats in two weeks...plus i usually blaze after i finished a beat or a loop and juz sit and vibe on it.
i set my beats up with a mc in mind...i figure out how the rap should go, not necessarily the words but the flow of it and i build my beat around that.
all they're doin is makin it easier to put you're idea down...i kno for me if it takes forever to figure out how to put an idea into a beat then i start to lose inspiration and the desire to finished dat beat. with the mv-8000 it just makes it faster to put in wut you want done.
why work...
i havent heard his new album yet..but i liked his last one...especially that one song i think its called "damn"...he flowed crazy on that song..he a true lyricist to me.
j-kwan and all those other wack ass rappers are tools, nothing more than manufactured pop music...industry saw that they can make money of a hip-hop so they corrupted it..juz like industries corrupt everything else...
