zip drives?

are the iomega 100 mb scsi zips a good buy. does anyone here use one. i need one for my 2kxl and im curious to know before i buy one.

i have one for my asr-x pro. i've never had a problem with it. its definitely better than having 100's of 1mb disks

get a 250mb for your MPC, and you got to have the right cable that they dont sell at computer stores, This guy on EBay sells the right one.

I second what soundboy said, 250mb will do you justice, I personally dont think 100mb is enuff.

how much is the 250 mb? theres a site thats which i can't think of right now thats selling the 100's for $45 plus the cable.

i found a 250mb at tampabay.rr.com for $160 plus three zip disks. is this an average price ? and what is the cable i need that soundboy2 was talking about?

im sure he's talking about a double din style cable and not USB which the newer zip drives use.

I did not have one of those zip drives come with my new computer.It came with my old one though.

i bought a 100 mb iomega zip. do i have to have it turnred on the entire time im working on the mpc or can i just turn it on when im ready to save? reason i ask is because you can hear it running and its kinda loud.
