I started in person with local artists around here in St.Louis..

Definitely do both. Both are important if ur really tryna go far

Starting in person builds a report. It helps to develop your business sense and gains the trust of the artist you pursue and work with. Plus, there's nothing like being in the "Yo" and seeing a product develop from the ground up!
