You know how You look on Production credits and they be having other people playin the violin and keys and such..

Well Here is a site that exists for you to send in your strings track (mp3 or midi) and they, two violinists, will replay your material exactly and send it back to you in the desired format.
Thats pretty impressive to me. Unfortunately, it is not free. But the person who showed this to me says they are very efficient, and the demos sound great as well.

Just something I thought you guys may want to take a peek at:

Most studios have connections to sessions musicians etc, they could do the same thing for probably the same money. Its not bad though, I've seen peeps on myspace doing the same thing and it beats having a triton, motif or any other played out machine for that matter. If you're really smart you dont send them scores, you just have them record a few tone ladders on a different velocities, that way you can chop it yourself and use it in your library for more than just one track.

I record friends who play instruments and save the chops but if you are going for an epic and/or live sounding piece chopping just won't cut it, you need that perfect blend that only comes with actual playing. I've been thinking about learning the violin to step my game up considerably.
