So I'm on Twitter and a rapper who I have heard of but don't listen to followed me out of the blue...I don't even follow dude. So I send him a fm asking if they were looking for production for their next project. The manger running the page responds back with "send a sample of your work along with ur placements to xxxxxx@xxx.com if you don't have any placements you will need a budget" ...Have you guys come in contact with that before? That's gotta be such a sweet hustle for these "C" list celebrities...Have the producers pay YOU to use their music...smh, I hate rap.

yup tell them to fuck right off in the nicest way possible as to not totally burn a bridge. On one hand you need to weed out spam as im sure they get a ton of beats. On the other COME ON. Yea the beat game is terrible!

You know what dude? It probably works on a TON of younger guys...Imagine the people out there that pay 100 bucks for a 1000 plays on youtube or SC because they think that helps, so if you have a XXL freshman who MIGHT rap on your beat for 250 bucks isnt that worth it lololol. I can definitely see how that hustle works on a lot of people. I just hope none of the guys out here would fall for some crap like that.
