Yo!! Im a Musician

this is in reference to that poll that is/was on the homepage. I noticed most people chose producer (im guessing because it sounds more comitted than beatmaker) but I consider what I do as a musician. And i havn't had anyone here ever comment on my beats, so that reflects on some part how you feel about me. <-actually i meat to say feel my music-but that rhymed) So from the people that voted for producer// im curious why you didn't choose musican. Because even a Composer of live instruments (and written tablature) would be considered a musican. and thats what we do!

I'm sure there's a lot of people that chose producer because they were goin for what you're talkin about, just sounds better. Truthfully though, from what I've seen here, I'm sure there are quite a few people that said producer and meant it. Just my 2 cents.

to me people just use the word producer cause they have nothing better to use but what do you say when somebody ask you "well who have you produce" and the truth is you havent produce nobody from the unknown kid around your way to a mega star. The word producer to me is a title that can only be used once you have did something to earn it. Like and show a check or getting paid for it have credits or have a fully complete track. Most people dont cause if they did i wouldnt see so many threads about how to sale beats or get put on. A real producer dont ask questions like that.

I wouldn't put musician cause thats someone who play instruments and plays them well. I just make beats with whatever I can get my hands on. I "produce " something out of nothing.
