Yo forreal? No chopping??? Does it atleast have a Trim/Crop function?

From my experience with the Akai S20, I was only able to trim samples, not chop them up. Then I could loop them, which is great for someone doing a live performance.

Oh well thats good, atleats it has a trim function. Im guessing that phase samplers are geared more toward DJs right?

Yeah, mainly for DJ's. When I had mine a few years ago, I didn't know that I couldn't chop, but it didn't matter anyway because it was great for looping and scratching over it!
