Then when I mash okay and try and open a session it tells me:

"The current playback engine doesnt support a sample rate of 44.1 kHz"

Im lost.

Im using 9 and Dac I dont think I can open a session to try that .
I uninstalled as well, have now reinstalled the drivers that are newest from Avid, reinstalled 9.0.1 and now am trying to reinstall this latest update..

I get "Liscence support":

"Another Version of this product is already installed. Installation of this product cannot continue.To configure or remove the exsisting version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel. " then it has a code.

You know whats REALLY stupid is that I have spent boo koo money on avids shit and they wanna charge me for support on this Bullshit..

How about creating a product that A) doesnt require giant chunks of life time or money to get on point in or B) not charging giant fuckin money to get simple support on simple updates.
Im not gonna use this shit anymore after they come out with 10 fuck it, thius is some bs that turns me off.

Hmm relic someone advised you up front to not use 64bit windows for pt at this time. At any rate check for a 64bit update, there is actually newer stuff than what you have. Stop uninstalling stuff you are making it worse!

Actually someone TOLD me to get the 64 bit, said "its good to be on the cutting edge but being on the cutting edge it takes technology time to catch up , but that shouldnt take more than a few months before its outdated".. lol.. are you telling me that Im just fucked here?

yes there is no result at all actually. lol did it bright before posting here, so google is gonna get this as its first result.. Yall be brainiacs and come up with an answer. .The problem is that projects I have are having ALL types of problems even prior to this on 9.

Im wondering should I go back to 8 and will my shit I did in 9 work in that?

I have actual projects I cant afford to just be "gone"...

I had issues with PT when I was rocking Windows with some random errors n shit...

Using the SAME version (legit, btw), and it is running FLAWLESSLY.

Mac has solved a lot of my error issues.
