i just bought a cheap lil ART power conditioner... i figured i needed one to protect my gear and with the amount of gear i had i felt it would ne easier to have a dedicated oulet source for all my shit ..anyways I defintely noticed a diffrence ...my shit sounded louder and more detailed ... i always thought that talk about dirty power was bullshit but even my girl noticed that my shit sounded better with the strip... i guess that dirty ass brooklyn power was polluting my sound... if you dont have some form of power conditioning.... get it ... especially if you live in a urban area

I have that shitty ass brooklyn power too, shit buzzes, sounds awful.
I jiggle the AC cord and it goes away. Definitely need to invest in a power conditioner at some point, however just spent 200 on a memory card and a hard drive, so gonna be a while. For now I just play with the kitchen fan on in the background.

That dirty Brooklyn power is no joke, but where ever you are, Ash is right, a power conditioner will clean up the sound. I think a lot of people just overlook it and don't think it's needed. Like Agent Smith, I got a Furman and it's great. Furman is definitely a good brand and they make some pretty cheap models too starting at about $50.
