would it be smart to still buy this item http://www.zzounds.com/item--MACHUI i think it's discontinued and i 'm wondering would it still be compatibe with software today. (Sonar 4, reason, Cubase sx 3) it looks like a good item and i've seen it in lots of studios, but i dont want to get anything that wont work with the software out now or software in the future.

if its something you need it would be wise to get.. use to have one used it with Dp 3

should work with cubase 3 i dont see why it wouldnt same with Sonar

ok thanks, so it doesn't matter how old it is as long as the software i use is compatible with it's hui contol.

shit looks tight,and mackie is supose to be a good brand. why not just call up zzsounds and confirm if itll work wit yur software

yea all software damn near supports hui emulation so it should work. i would check and see if mackie atleast still support it even though its discon.
