with FL 4 you anit gotta sample no more!huh? or is it just me?

man I've been rollin' wit fl 4.1 since bout' DEC and I havent been sampling any synth or bass anymore!
I could make all my beats with well some good drum samps like a an 808 kik and a premiere snare or a tight clap and a 606 hi-hat
and everything else is a generator !
I've lately been finding myself trying to capture a DRE g-funk kinda sound (common I'm from calli!) anyways I've been wearin' the hell outta my 3osc synth generator and all the FL generators booBass,ts,sim synth,wasp, DX whatever
thats basically my new formula!
and I now make some pretty elaborate synth lines
any one else got a special formula??
or signature style?

3osc synth generator... lol... thats the baby for ur sine g-funk loop... yeah i agree i been usin all that kinda ish... u checked that timbaland beat they made? it sounds hella cheesy but still some of the noises from that are fucking cool... i been using all that shit for my new style... its kinda a cross between... lil jon, premo & dr dre.... lol... sounds shit... but i like it... lol... jus makin he music for me... and sum day every1 will be bowin down... lol... just do you!!!

I love vst's!!!
there are a lot of good free vst's out there that can hang with the profesional ones or if they can't there is always a usefull sound to make with it.
I love the FM7 from native instruments(not free though).
that is really my baby at the moment.

yeah I'm starting to love synth generators where could I get some more synnth generators for free
I'm looking for a really g-funk synth sound
and is there any better bass generator out there I mean boobass is good ! but you know there could always be better bass!
Im tryin ta make a "let me ride" ''fuck wit dre day" type track!
just for fun I'm not tryin ta jock dre's style to the fullest I've already found my sound now I'm trying to perfect it

Some keys to a good Dre synth....P to Da Or TA Mento....portamento just the right amount and pitch bend amount about 4 and then make sure you use a lead synth sound....and what makes it even better if you use two synths and mess around with the tuning etc.....you gotta listen to his shidd because most of his synth on some of his records are just a Worm.....from the 70's

I also use FL Producers Edition and have to say I love it. I've been using FL since 2000 and I have to say that I'm highly impressed with the way Fruityloops has evolved. I haven't totally lost the concept of sampling though. When high end equipment these days is first directed toward those with lots of money it's nice to see a program do so many things for the price range that it is and with the same quality. Now all of the big names, Roland, Akai, are jumping on the software band wagon. Using phrase editing in their equipment like Roland's VariOs. Just proves to me that you dont have to spend big cheese to make big sounds. I currently use a number of combinations in FL to make beats. If you haven't tried it then and your into Midi try out the generator called the Dashboard. This generator comes stock with a Roland XP 30 controller interface that uses GM modules which are basically Midi/Soundfonts. Besides that I think the key to making Platinum beats is to keep it simple. Test your beats on people and get their opinions. If alot of people are feeling the beat chances are you might have a hit on your hands. Peace
