I think the most crucial step to maturity is honesty. If you can be honest with others, and then yourself, you will have achieved adulthood.

The day you admit you made a mistake instead of looking for a reason as to why you made the mistake, you have reached the peak of maturation.

I've been hurt 3 times by the same person. All 3 times, this person lied to me. To my face, on the phone, and over the internet. I can't think of another medium.. I believe its partly my fault for forgiving them tho.. One strike is the limit folks.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me for lettin you do that shit twice.

Fool me 3 times, I might as well tattoo 'IDIOT' on my forehead and walk around naked through the mall. Only then would I equal the embarassment that I feel now.

After watching the Maury show almost daily, it amazes me how many people cheat/sleep around. My advice to you is to move on. If you can't trust the person then there goes the whole relationship.
