Why Am so happy at the moment!

i just found out i got an offer to study at imperial college london next year. i will be reading computing. for those that dont know, this is the 3rd best university in the uk next to oxford and cambridge. its the best engineering and sciences institution in the europe and is in top 5 along with M.I.T in world rankings. am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!! but shit i gota study real hard so that i meet the requirements of attaining AAB, so my activity here at illmuzik might be hindered a little. now you proly wondering why am this happy, well firstly its a top institution, but ill be moving to LONDON as a result. in the uk , london is like new york to americans. the music connections i can make in london are immense. plus imperial is right next to a top music college in the uk, and students from imperial often mix with those from the music skool, getting free instrument tuition, playing in bands etc. this is gona be off the shizzle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! right now i gota go call up everybody let em know the good news.

Very good job Afrique, looks like your world is about to open up in a big way....so many choices ahead, keep with the Music but the demands of studying and staying focused at that level in the beginning gonna knock out production time you might still get a few beats off a week....I would get my catalog together so you already got beats ready to shop and work with mC's.

Congrats Afrique.... I know the feelling. I felt the same way when I got into Grad School at U.C. Berkeley... The only problem was I have so much work to do I lost my drive 2 make beats just to stay in school... now ime trying to work on shit and get back in the swing of things... Yo Afriq congrats! You were one of the reasons that I joined this site in the first place. After hearing you put it down I just had to see what else was in store. I think that you have the talent to be one of great beatmakers of our time. I wish you all the best in your new endeavors and I hope that even though school will be & (must be) your main focus, that you will not totally quit your pursuit of beatmaking. I think that it's just a matter of time before someone really takes notice of your skills!
