Nah, you know what's been pissing me the fuck off lately? Bahamadia. Does anybody understand why she is even around? She rhymes so low and mumbles so you can barely hear her, let alone understand more than 5 words she says. I dont get. I remember when she had a single on the radio in NYC back around '95. Every track that she's featured on gets ruined. On Jmt's Violent by Design, she raps last and it's fucking terrible. It was one of the hottest tracks on the album too. I want to know what happens at the lab while she recorded that verse. Did the other mc's say "Oh that shit is hot!" like a bunch of fuckin yes men?? Really, I hate her.

Based on relative longevity I'll go with Rah Digga. L-Boog was so nice, and probably still is but she has given it up. Altough have you heard that continuous verse she rocks on the unplugged album. Its on the Mystery of Inequity, the song Kanye appropriated for When it all falls down. She has a great flow that goes like 64 bars. Bahamadia is nice, she sounds like a female LLoyd Banks,(is that a compliment?) I read recently that she is producing and djing. This is a return to normalcy for her as she claims that she has always been a dj first, she never considered herself a true mc.

Come to think of it, I'd have to agree with the one that mentioned Shawnna. Granted, the likes of Bahamadia, Jean Grae, and Lauryn are lyrically renown and either underappreciated or just need to get out of protective custody or where ever they are hiding. But I think Shawnna could be the only female MC that has the potential to touch both the underground and commercial audiences. Shit, she could be the Beyonce of the rap game for all we know. As long as she hits us with a dope first album, doesn't dwell on how well she can take the cock, stay away from UPN sitcom offers and Maybelene commercials, she could be pretty huge......
