who are your favorite artists to sample

I don't sample much and I know some people don't like giving this info up but I love diggin for vintage stuff mostly because I like to listen to it but also I like finding strange sounds that you could never get with keyboard presets or synths. My favorites are

this is a good thread well i don't sample but my grandma is giving me her record collection and she has nothing but soul music, annita franklin, marvin gaye, temptations ect. i know alot of people use soul albums but hey its better than nothing but i am going to be checkin out some thrift stores and mom and pops record stores for some records to but yall been giving me some good names to check out tho

i'll sample anything that i think will sound good, i've even made a beat with an old cartoon theme ! i've been trying to sample a lot more modern stuff recently as most people tend to shy away from it towards older records !
