I'm currently looking at the following for my audio recording system :
Focusrite Mbox USB Interface with pro tools LE
DigiTech RPx400 Modelling Floor Processor and USB Interface with Cakewalk
Tascam US-244 Master Fader USB Interface with Cubasis

Which would you recommend and any other usefull info you have about this stuff would be kewl !:)

Of those three I would choose the Tascam/Cubasis combo because I am a fan of Cubase and you get a 4-channel controller with the Tascam.

Next I would choose the MBox, but only because Focusrite makes the preamps (they are supposed to be a very good company for doing this). I am not a fan of ProTools, especially the LE version.

I would stay away from the Digitech stuff...it is a guitar pedal with a USB connection, I'll bet the convertors on it sound like ass and the effects will be designed with guitar players in mind. I haven't played with it so I cannot speak from experience, but it looks to be the least professional of the three.

I actually tried the Tascam 428, but brought it back due a failure in the interface. I didn't need the remote controllers anyway since im not doing any acoustix. Why not look into some more digidesign stuff or creamware.
