i used the firewire solo from time to time its good i have no complaints...i use it when i rock logic but i mostly mess with the mbox with pro tools

i got the M-Audio Fast Track Pro joint, its pretty tight - sound and feature wise.

but beware of the build quality, it aint too good on mine so i would imagine it aint brill with the Firewire.

i own and frequently use the firewire solo, it's badass for the price, and if you want more ins and outs just add a mixer to your setup, you'll be set for a while
