Where did my RTAS go?

Sooo, I copped a new RTAS yesterday , DL'd it and installed it , created a new instrument track went to the plugin spot for them and its no where.

Anybody know how to make the ish work?
Or any tips or experience with this?

It came in a zip folder extracted mashed install.
Restarted. Nothing.
PT 8 Win 7 64 bit.

Hey I was thinking about this last night, try to creating a mono instrument track if you have been trying stereo.

If I could run from the bldg now and go home thats what I would be doing.
Im kind of googling around looking for similar problems and I have seen a couple of things , but all that jargon is meaningless to me lol.

what is the plug-in? did you run it as admin.? (right click)
is it in the programs (x86)/common files/digidesign/dae/plug-ins/?
did you make sure that the rtas plug-in is compatible with win 7?

I assumed that it was compatible with Win 7 but that was my first thought, I put in a support ticket with Papen... Maybe they will quickly tell me if it is or isnt.

Im still not all that familiar WITH win 7 yet I went looking for the programs folder and couldnt locate it haha. then I started a recording session and figured I would post here today.
I will try those things tonight 7th.

The Plug-in is Rob Papens SubBoomBass ver 1.1

it should be compatible.

i know papen's shit is both x86 and x64, but i can't remember if it's a separate installer or an all-in one. you would need to either choose the x86 installer or choose to install the x86 version when prompted, if it was a single installer.

This, as I figured, was due to "operator failure".

Turns out that when you buy a product prom RP and you click the DL link if you are not looking at the whole page and just greedily mash the button to DL the format you want you will miss the list of DL's underneath it, thereby DLing whatever Plug-in is first in the list , in this case it was RP delay ( I assume its a demo) so therefore , yes, I never actually had what I wanted so thats why I couldnt find it in the list lol.
Duhhhhhhh.
Guess Ill try out RP delay too.
