Hi all.
I'm glad that I found this site. I think this is great place for networking, and learning ..and sure, fun!

I'm 25 years old producer and MC, (Europe).
I'm doin beats since 2001. but only recently I come into mixing/mastering job.
I wasn't interrested in that so much before.
Now I want to learn more about technical side of it all, ... you know what i mean. How to properly mix a project, which EQ, ..plug ins...etc.

Well, i have an PC runed with AMD 2.5 / 512 DDR Ram /80G
I compose beats in Reason and than do the mix and arrange it in Cubase SX.
I have a lots of plug-ins which come handy....
I also have an Yamaha PSR-330 keyboard which I use as midi controler.

But when i want tru bass, guitar or whatsoever, i know people which then replay it for me in studio.
For an example i made bass line, guitar melodies, in short all mellodics and drum pattern programed in Reason, and then if needed, same melodies are played over real instruments.

i prefere that way, becouse all that computer sounds- sound crapy...

Actualy, its not about beat they play in backround.

It will be single for upcoming female artist from my project which i produce. We got offer to go to MTV without any label help. She is still unsigned, but i hope that will speed things up. We are about to shoot video next month. It will go in airplay on MTV Adria after september.
And she does not perfom r'nb. Its even hard to me to say which style is it. But base is in hi hop. And beat isn even pop-ish, its ruff, raw and darkish, just like her style. The name of the track is RAW, so that explains all
