Actually mine was the same, but even then I was rocking tape and ADAT's more than software. Then I got a digidesign session 8

Not really a DAW, but that's what I used, then I guess Cubase in 2001.

Trackers were the shit back in the days, ft2 had midi support and 32 channels of mono sampler tracks for your 386/40mhz/4mb ram haha.

You got it man, trackers were awesome and really flexible considering the time they came out. I still have a cd with tracks I made on impulse tracker, but I think its at a friends place..i gotta find it one day.

My first DAW was Music 2000 on the PS1. Not really a DAW, but it got me started.
Then I got pre SX Cubase. rev 5 I think.
And when reason came out I stuck with that.
