What size cables? Someone pleaze help!!

I have an mpc 2000xl, and i want to sample from a turntable and my computer. I know the turntabe rca (red n white) jacks are to small for the mpc and i have a cable wit da rca (red n white) jack at one end and the other end has the small headphone jack. I have been tryin to figure this out.

i dont know shit about mpc's but if u go to radio shack u can by adapters that make the headphone jack into those bigger ones or vice versa

You will need 1/4 inch jacks to fit into the back of the mpc. You can either get adapters or better yet get the right cables from jump. I don't know your set up; but I have turntables, cd players, tapedeck, computer, and keyboards all going into my mixer and then to my mpc. This way I can sample from whatever source I choose.
