It was funny period. Y make a fuss bout it sure the guy should of not dropped the n-bomb, but to really get mad at that we shouldnt use it either, for real, but other than that it was a spoof like Wierd Al used to do the only difference is that they basically used the real lyrics. But the white mike jones thats Funny, And naw they aint poking fun at hip hop in gerneral this is nothing but some white boyes wit a lil paper and some camera skills poking fun

^^ its up to you, but here in England, proper hip hop fans are a major minority unless your in a city, and everyday you get rock-heads (who are the vast majority) doin the whole BLING BLING thing in your face.

and u get this very often:
''hey your into all that gangsta shit arent you? i cant believe you like that n*gga shit, its absolute trash'' then they proceed to do all the impressions of Snoop and shit.

this is what i see in these guys and it gets to me.

...the whole frickin video is stereotypical. judging by their clothes etc.. these guys aint into hip hop at all, they are just some country red neck tossers takin the piss out of rap.

This is exactly why I responded in the first place. So being into the Hip Hop culture means you have to dress a certain way? Act a certain way? Talk a certain way? I grew up on Hip Hop and because I'm white peeps think that I can't be Hip Hop. Fuck all of you think this way. I AM HIP HOP, BITCHES and I don't have to stick to some fake ass mold either!

i get that too from pretty much everyone in Tulsa. When i was younger it bothered me because I take myself seriously and too see idiots jerk their ego off on my culture is personal. Even more so when an average (friends watching) white person see's one of these idiots before meeting me an my craft. But i'm older so i honestly don't care.. i soon realized how mentally handycapped our species is on a whole an decided not to waste any more time thinking about or letting it bother me. for me it's about the music

So Eminem is not Hip Hop? This is a big deal because come people obviously think that White Boys that put some time into making an imitation rap video are just clowns. Since we're stereotyping here, why wouldn't they do a Blink 182 video? I know I'm making this a big deal, but I feel it's necessary to open your eyes. Do you think they only did this as a joke? Do they listen to Country music all the time and clown on Hip Hop the rest of the time? I'm responding like this because this is the type of shit I get from people. BUt I'm starting to see that it's pointless because some people rely on the media to give them a definition of Hip Hop. Maybe I should just start listening to Bon Jovi or Metallica...

First off, I never said those white kids weren't wack I just didn't understand how they were dickheads. You just assumed they weren't taking it seriously because they were wack. I honestly think they believe they did a good job and I don't think it's a disgrace to Hip Hop either.

That other guy, yes, he's a clown, but again I don't think he's a disgrace to Hip Hop. He be saying nigga, but I see that as him being immersed in the lyrics of gangster rap. I know that's not an excuse. I think he's trying to emulate the images he sees on TV and hears in the music.

You never answered my question before about calling girls hoes? Is that Hip Hop? Or is it Gangster Rap? Might it be "wack" to call a girl a hoe?

I know you're white (what's FFS?). And it didn't apply to just you, it applies to the damn world! It annoys me too, that's why I don't like it when I feel people are trying to create a mold based how people into the Hip Hop culture should look and act. Why couldn't I wear a metallica hoody w/ black eye make-up while "being" Hip Hop. Look at the Kottonmouth Kings, Daddy-X where's black eye makeup sometimes. They even mix there sound up w/ punk. Are they clowns because they are White?...No, they put out some good Hip Hop music. You see my friend, even you are labeling what Hip Hop heads should look like. I could wear a suit everyday and still be Hip Hop if I wanted to.

I think people are mixing "Gangster" Rap with the culture of Hip Hop and that's sad.

It's also wrong to think that just because we're members of an "Underground" community that we are more Hip Hop than others. Think about it.

Whatever, I've run my mouth long enough on this subject.

Peace,

i agree with that ^ these guys are super wack - no matter who they are or what their motives are.

''Why couldn't I wear a metallica hoody w/ black eye make-up while "being" Hip Hop.''

lol no comment.

edit: on the appearance thing, i think its good to wear hip hop clothing coz your are representing the music (and the culture) without givin a shit of what people think of you. a Metallica hoody aint really showin off your hip hop love is it...

First off, I like how you're typing in all caps now.

Read my last comment I never said they weren't stupid/wack. I'm sure they were just having fun, I started on this thread because I felt that the dickheads comment was wrong and was directed at the fact that whiteboys would make a rap music video. I think they actually like the song, think they did a good job and had enough time to make that silly ass video. I don't want people to think that whiteboys from the north, south, east, or west just listen to country, rock, etc.

Brilliant! Just the ignorance I was talking about.

Don't worry what I post about, just go take some more pictures of your day for us. LOL!

The clothes comment shows me just how stupid some people are and that they think they know what Hip Hop is about. It aint clothes. You obviously believe that other Hip Hoppers won't think you're real if you don't dress the part. Don't mind me, wear what you want, but don't think that wearing "urban" (look at that marketing) clothing makes you true.

I'm over this now. I said what I wanted to. I'm out.

LOL!! I dont even know what to say about that vid. What was the 2nd song called i dont think ive heard it before??

And @ the turn this thread took, i dunno that we can see / say that they hated or liked hip hop, but if you took offense to their stereotyping of hip hop why would you then turn around and stereotype them?? that is being hypocritical and your bound to offend someone else in the process, yet you cant see why they would get upset?
