I have to go with you mik-p, I don't like american beer either.
it got a weak taste to it, I like strong beers especially belgium beers with 9 or 10 percent alcohol, now that is beer.
I also love wiskey, single malt 12 years old is the best I think (but expensive.)

Friend of mine is importing this into the netherlands, I friggin drowned myself a few times on this Jamaican brew. Actualy, he brought it over to my house when he got his first delivery, tasted it while producing a track in my studio. I dont like cocktails, blends or liquors. Since I got into Scotch ( single malt 12 years or older ) and got into scotch a lot, my taste seemed to have been altered due to the taste I developed over the whiskey. Mind you, I've drunk a lot of Scotch. A very fine example is Glenn Morange, relativly cheap and a very subtle taste.

The beerlist, Brand, Grolsch, Palm,Westmalle Triple, La chouff, Chimay ( any color), Bofferding, Korenwolf, Hoegaarden.

Fok Heineken, Fok Amstel.

Belgian beer is the best. everything else sucks.

But yeah, nothing beats a big bottle of Chouffe on a warn summer afternoon. The Hoegaarden is the one to drink at noon in the hot summer, obviously, ice cold.
