I was thinking about taking some online courses from berklee to beef up my studio skills. Has anyone heard anything good or bad bout this program?

I wanna open up a recording studio (no just underground) and make a possible living at this music thang is why i'm asking.

I heard it's pretty tight, go for it i just went to oakland and burklee for my cousins graduation.

it can never hurt to have any type of education,,,,do what you think is right for you.

damn homie i dont know if im doing the right thing telling u opening a pro music studio to rent it out to people is a bad idea, i work on one now and business turned to shit cuz alot of heads are recording at home and not caring about the quality....big artists most own their own shit or go to studios from other big heads and studios they know (criteria, hit factory,..shit like that) the studio i work for might go outta business they're workin out some deals with some semi big people tryin to save it. peace

yea i worked in one thats not doing much now. but a lot of (hood) cats (that i know) don't understand the tech and just got loot and want to rap. I'm looking at a month to month spot so if it slows down i could close and not be too hurt. I just got too many cats wanting it right now for me to bring em all to my house. man (where i stay) everybody want to be a rapper. I 'll probably keep my day job (with yamaha marine) too.

lol. everybody wanna be a rapper everywhere and everybody makes beats too. good luck homie, if u ever in miami holla ill show u the studio, theyre tryin to pick business back up and hopefully they do if not i wont have a free studio to work in .

I'm like the only cat recording rap in my small lil town and the cheapest ($20/hr) for miles so that gives me a slight edge. (and a lot of business) pretty low cost of living here so 20 is nice. plus beat sales. its aight
