Im gonna have to wait to see what the quality of 3D is going to be...right now I cant stand watching it. The quality of the effect sucks IMO. I have a Mitsubishi with 3D mode and have yet to watch it for more than 30 mins. because it looks horrible. Sony is a great company and usually they put out some nice quality stuff.The TV and the playstation 3 combo will be hard to resist but its gonna have to blow me away for me to move away from HDTV.

I don't know about all this 3d stuff. HD is enough, and even that is only good if you have all the other HD gadgets to go with it. Kinda sucks, but it's cool nonetheless.

Most newer lcds and dlps have been 3d ready since 2005. The movies are now in 3d so its a marketing scheme. Sure some will be made strictly for 3d, but the technology has been around for a minute on the newer tvs

we have a couple of these at work. they're cool, but as far as watching tv in 3d, they ain't that great. 3d blu ray movies are the shit. i think that this is where these will be geared more towards. they also take a minute to get used to. a few people get headaches after watching for 5 minutes or more.

Samsung makes Sony's screens, therefore, i'll spend less money and buy tha Sammy! my next joint is gonna be a 55" LED by the end of the year... this 3D stuff will hafta wait a few years for me.
