Weird midi (pre?)Delay with my keyboard!

Whats good yall,

I just switched soundcard to a M-audio delt 66. My midi keyboard (evolution mc 246) does some weird (pre)delay. Lets say i play a note ( thats on time with the click, and trust me i got people to double check to make sure i was on time) and the note appear half or a full step AHEAD of when i played it. I mean if it was after, i could understand but before...i dont get it.

Oh yeah and my midi keyboard is plug usb in my computer. I doesnt go through my soudncard at all!

anybody got info for me? ill hook you up if you help me fix that !

huh, this is one hell of an ai in your daw, it actualy predicts your key actions before note on lol

Its probably the compensation. I dont know exactly how it works. But in the settings the latency is calculated then compensated for. Check that you haven't got the compensation set too high in your settings somewhere.

change your buffer length in the Audio Settings.

For anybody that cares, it was my asio that was set to direct sound instead of asio m-audio delta 66!
