My reviews:

Grafik - yours is kinda messy. might be because this sample's a bit sloppy. i like the drums. they're simple but awesome. another downside is that it doesn't really have a tune, but that's my preference. i'm driven much by musicality.

the specialist - pretty nice. you used kinda the same areas of the sample as me. grimey as well. i like how you drop the beat in and out. you made a lot out of the not so great sample you had to work with. good job!

heres mine, thought i'd have a go. just quick, no chorus in it


i thought grafiks sounded abit rushed, lacked flow to it to my ears.

i liked the specialists alot, flowed nicely, really smooth beat

samuelocks i liked, really like the bass in it once it was brought in, added to the beat in a great way

throw it up man this is sorta like a clinic / lab to show what you can do I think this is useful..its not really a showcase but it give others who dont know how to flip or want to develop some type of technique....props to Fade and whoever thought of this cool thread...I know it was tried out a long time ago but for some reason this one done caught on...

My flip of the latest sample, gotta give props to bloodybastid cos i think that sample is something i would have just passed by if i had come by it in most other situations.

pardon my mixing i have tinnitus and i cant mix anything with high frequencies. it just hurts my ears. so i always make my hats and snares and stuff too low.

This was for the first one. Finally got around to mixing it. Didn't do much to the sample, mostly just composed over it, but for the second one. I'm gonna try and step up my sampling and just use the sample. Enjoy people, and links in the sig. Songs called, "The Microphone & Emcee". Just a intro and verses.

seoul, i dont think theres much point in the sample being there.

I dont mean that as a negative, seeing as you just relegated it to the background and its kinda outta place with the rest of the instruments, i think you should just replace it with another sound but keeping the same notes/chords. Then just work on getting everything to sound better together. Keep working on it i think it could turn into a much better beat
