wave file not recognised

i have this wave file i want to convert to mp3, but none of my audio editors will recognise it.
odd, because my audio players do, and it plays normally.

at home i would simply re-record it, but no option here, cause im travelling and limited to my notebook.

any suggestions?

ok i did it. still dont know what the problem was, i guess its issues with the coding, but i simply used winamp to convert the file

sometimes editors have trouble handling wav files with ''exotic'' bitrates (pretty much anything outside the typical PCM 44,100 samples per second, 16 bits format).
