noooo... this program is not for disks for samplers... it is for, say if you want your Yamaha Motif to be sampled and turned into a Reason Refill or Kontakt Sampler library.
This works for any midi module, like a Triton, Fantom etc rack or keyboard version.
After making perfectly replicated software libraries, you won't need to use your triton or motif anymore... All the sounds will be in a big file on your computer.

I used this, and it may work if u knew how to properly setup each patch... like velocities and length.

after much hastle... i would leave it to professionals or keep my racks lol

good post non-the-less

if any of you feeling antsy and bust out some motif joints..let me know$$$

cool I would be interested in the one that I can export my refills and patches from reason to Wave files...anyone know of this???

look for the free program called "refill extractor" or something to that nature. but yea.. its possible. and free.

there was talk of a refill extractor thing years ago... but i doubt anybody ever used it successfully (if it existed/worked at all). unfortunately, unless you work directly at Propellerhead, there is no way to get around the protection :(

Yall going about it the wrong way. There is a program our there. That will clone your entire hardware synth. It's configuralbe 2. You can set it up to do multiple velocites and looping and crossfading. I forgot thename of it, but I seen it in a future music mag. it makes the progam into any Sampleformat you want. So you can get them as NNXT patches then make them into a refill. Its a guy on Ebay saling the korg triton Refill, check them all out. I know one guy should stand out he has it mapped out, multiple velocites and all the good stuff, I don't know if it sould like a triton, because I never had one, but it sounds good. 5 gigs though.

actually.... theres a fairly recent version.. but nonethelsess COUNTLESS people have and do use is flawlessly..

why put out programs that don't work... they didn't.

Sanova, could you point to the program somewhere? i asked propellerheads and they told me that unless you have the "SDK (software development kit)" from Propellerheads themselves (which only propellerheads have) then you cannot make something that interferes with refills and the Reason program "beyond the header encryption".

there are many programs that MAKE refills, namely programs like the one i linked in the first post of this thread and the Propellerheads Refill builder thing. but you can't extract from refills once they are made.

that's what that program does, Samplit. You set up the velocity range, how far you want to sample (like all keys or only 3 octaves etc) and crossfading and automatic looping (it detects when a sound has two exact spots of audio, i.e. when the sample loops and replicates it perfectly. it doesn't only make Refills, it makes Kontakt, Sampletank, Halion etc... it is exactly the program you described in your post. the triton 'facsimile' refill you can get off ebay was made with this program. it is not more than 2gb though. but if you sample a triton in more velocities it will get bigger (5gb etc like you said).

and for those that are curious:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Yamaha-Motif...ryZ38091QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

that is a Motif Soundset. The guy sells it for 250 for all sounds from the motif. you can get it in sampletank, reason etc. he also sells the fantom and triton... it all gets shipped on a harddrive since the sets are huge (like 30gb each).

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TRITON-Facsi...ryZ62242QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

there is the triton refill. it is about 4gb in wav format, but in Refill format it is about 2gb (i have bought it...).

i dont understand why that guy with the motif and fantom sets wants 250 for it, when this guy sells the triton for a couple of dollars.

basically if you have the samplit program (there is 1 or 2 other programs that makes full soundsets from your hardware module, but samplit is the best) then you could just get one big HD and sample all your things (triton, fantom, mo phatt etc) and sell the hardware. :)
only if you prefer working in software...

MY boy sent me this 2 gig Korg Triton Pro X Refill (for free)..i love it.

I just need a motif and fantom on this level.

NVM u just linked me.

250 is steep. especially without any demos...

anyone got this one yet ?

id be willing to go half on it.

Thats is pretty steep even if it does come with a hardrive, but if its sampled right its worth a decent amount of money to be able to have access to all the sounds. Now the only thing is that you miss out on the effects of those keyboard. Anybody that has a fantom will tell you about roland effects. They are the ish, most of the FL users can find plugs and Reasons you can make some nice combi effects patches. I see now real flaw in this. I have the Nord Lead 2, Xv-30800, MS2000, Triton and Waldofl microwave, and its a company called reasonbank where I got the access virus, and Alesis Q.S. The Q.S keyboard is the only one I have a actual unit and most pathes are the same expect for some of the stacked patces due to Reason not having the effects. However spending a little and getting so much in return is worth it to me. If you got the sonic reality series around 400, and get a few of the workstation keyboards in Reasonformat. You only put a 600 of sounds into it, but you really got endless sounds at your disposal that will last you for years. For the the advanced tweakers even more as you stack NNXT patches and make new ish.

Tell yall what, I have the Fantom, Triton, and Motif Next Level Refills for Reason. And I have that Facsimile Refill too. How bout we all go in on those Packs from dude on Ebay if his sounds are so great? Im more than willing to share with the pool if we start one.

^^ i definetely would...the only problem is that its hard drive based. there is no way tos plit that.

if he dropped the price in half..i might consider it.

im sure he has made his profit back 10 fold by now.

Hey Konartis,

I've been looking for something like this for a while.

I was able to take the demo of it and create a decent patch of one of my favorite motif rack sounds. It took a little longer since I could only do 2 octive increments at a time but I was able to combine those 2 octive patches into one NN-XT patch easily enough.

I had purchased some Motif sounds but I wasn't really happy with the velocity mappings of that soundset. It will be great to be able to generate the sound patches the way I want them.

I will probably purchase this in a few weeks.

Thanks for posting the link!
