vst's on protools?

is there any way to use vst's with pro tools? or are they just for steinberg programs?
im guessing its not possible, but i havent had pro tools that long, so i dont know much about it. youd think after spending $500 on the mbox, digidesign might be able to toss in a manual too............... nope

Hey,

I'll save you the trouble...

NO. You have to use those designed specifically for PT, unless there is something called a 'wrapper' which will translate VST stuff into something which PT can understand.
