I need some help with Vocals and EQ'n them! I have 24/8 Mackie Mixing board.

I need to know what to set the EQ on for female Vocas. Singing not rapping.

Male rap vocals? Can anyone help or is there some normal presets?

THat all really depends on how yer Micpres make yer shit sounds and how yer mic sounds when recording....Some mics need a hi cut, some need a lo cut....it jus depends.....Sometimes after uve recorded u might need an exciter - its always depending on yer existing gear and the sound it produces.

I'm with you on the whole EQing... I've been making beats for a while but finally found someone talented enough to my standards (real picky I am) and I'm having problems with making his voice (singing vocals) mesh with the music... I have people listen and they think it sounds profesional but I'm just real picky... and I know that stuff isn't blending right... So if people could help awesome... but to you that are like me have others listen and see what they think... It's hard to step out of producer role and step into listener role...
