Okay anyone have any experience with this? We are looking for a portable interface to record with . Is there any better portable Soundcards for around the same price range?

I can't recommend anything off the top of my head but I have been looking at the line of M-Audio cards for a while, that should be my next purchase:

and ive been also keeping my eye at the M-audio delta 44 for a while now.

Im pretty sure is gonna come down to these two.

Either way you can't go wrong with either, they're both such good brands. Do some searching on here, both of them have been mentioned a lot.

i have the us122 and that works pretty great. latency kinda sux though. i was using it with cep. now i got the emu 1212m but i havent used it for recording vocals yet though.

so far so good. really clean sound and very easy to work with. the only problem ive had with it was when i was tryna plug in my turntable to it and it wouldnt record but that was because you have to tell it where to record. its not like other soundcards where it automatically detects what you want to do. i found that info in another forum *cough*

lol...yeah man the emu 1212 is looking ncie right now but i dont know im going to have to look into some other ones and my budget aint too much im not trying to spend more than 200

hmmm Pm me , i doubt it tough . Ive heard a lot of people having trouble with it but who knows.

i got a us 122 its cool it does not work with adobe i use acid and record mostly into fruity i have not had any problems with it
