im using mainly a Yamaha Motif 6, but i also use computer software like Cool Edit Pro for recording ect...

i got my Motif from Germany coz they were doing a very good deal on them. UK prices for equipment are pretty high.

I've used the Akai s2000 - fekin nigtmare piece of kit IMO - I'd prefer a sofware sampler like cool edit or sumthin any time over an S2000 - where the hell is Thanet?

At the moment it is a bit of nightmare, with its little screen and page scrolling, but when I get my laptop I'm connecting it all up via SCSI and controlling it with Mesa which should make things a lot easier, plus you can import WAVs ans stuff fom your hardisk and process them with the software. There is a great article on the IllMuzik site actually which tells you how to connect everything up. [under 'reviews' if I'm not mistaken]

Thanet is in kent - its like three towns more or less - highest teenage precnancy rate not just in England, but I saw on the news recently the highest in Europe, lol.

EDIT - The UK IllMuzik thing sounds dope too.
