Hey,

I've been doing some research and I'm wondering, does anybody have the Numark TT-500's? Can they compare to the 1200's? Is the motor strong?

And which would you choose between the Vestax PDX-2000 and the TT-500's?

See I want to get into DJ'ing and crate digging for cheap, but something that will last me. I've been told the 1200's, but their just way to much money.

i have been djing/skratching for over 14 years now and i get this question or questions like this all the time. i have tried countless turntables, etc.. but i highly recommend that you get technics 1200s because they are proven tanks. also, if you change your mind, let's say a year from now, the technics dont depreciate nearly as much as the other brands. in other words, buying 1200s makes wayyyy more sense in terms of an investment as well as having top notch equipment.

save up and get the 1200s

if you dont u'll just end up trying to buy some a few months later when your skill outgrows those others

Just FYI, the TT-500 is exactly the same as a TTX without the digital features.

get the pdx-2ks imo, especially the pros if you can, ive had a set of original 2000s for about 5 years now so that proves they last, and they are much more versatile than 1210s imo !
