turntable problems

ayo some reason when I drop my needle it runs straight to the end of the record. I tried changing the weight of it but doesnt help. Help a turntable newb out mella.

I replaced the needle but I still get the same result.

Actually BEFORE I replaced the needle, the old needle stop doing the skip to the end of the record shit it was doing, but it started producing this muffled,skipping sound.

Now that I've replaced the needle I still get that fucked up sound! anybody got a clue to what could be going on?

waaaaaaaaay back when i used to have a turntable i remember i had the same prob in my case it was the damn needle its really hard to imagine that its something diffrent.try a diffrent new one maybe the one u replaced was fucked up too.

Yeah, look at the very tip of the needle, if it looks like the headshell is almost scraping the vinyl,you have to much weight on it.other than that, turntables are very simple . A needle is like putting a mic to an instrument, if the needle (mic) is good and it's placed(right weight on tonearm) properlly youl'll get a good sound.
