Try to save on ReCycle

when i try to save as in ReCycle 2 it asks for how much bars how do i find out how much bars is my sample thanks bye

there's a slider on the bottom left corner to zoom in. as for the amount of bars... eh, i dont really find that it matters. you can put in 999 or 1 and it wont make a difference to the chops

Yes it will, your loop will be out of sync if the bars are wrong. You really should learn how to count time.

i dont use my samples as loops, so it doesnt matter to me really. if i need to find the tempo of my sample, i just speed bpm up and down in reason until the sample fits and make my adjustments from there

Only if you are making loops do you need to think about how many bars and beats are needed. If you just Chop to sample parts and piece it together later then just add 1 bar or whatever amount.

honestly u really dont have to put the correct numbers of bars..i knoe how to count bars but i learned it doesnt make a difference cuz i saved it to any number and my samples never been fucked up ...its wierd but tis tru

Thats what I do, if I only have chops I just through a 1 in it so I can tweak with shit and save it. It really dont matter.

if you are bringing them in to dr rex they will be out of time if the bars and beats are wrong. That is of course if you are making a loop if not, trigger away.

Exactly. If you loop it then yes a correct Bar count is needed, but if you just chopn then it dont matter.

well i found this out way back
when the windows pops up put it at 1
there for it will spread your chops out on all keys!
i never loop!! so my tempos or bar doesnt matter but when u
use chopz just put it as 1
so if u use the mpd24 like me it spread them on a 16's of a note!! and give u that mpc sampling feel!
plus
and i never use the auto slicer
manual slicing is better so u wont have to work as much when u are in reason!

oh as for the magnify thang some one beat me to it!!
but another good trick to is have the color different!
on my recycle i change the main color so i can see the details better when i magnify it!

The autoslice can be inaccurate, sometimes to clean up a poorly sliced rex file you can open it in an nnxt and tweak the chops, or just redo them manually in recycle and reimport to reason.

ctrl and + at the same time will zoom.. and ''ctrl and -" will zoom out.

i woulda typed it like this but i didnt wanna be confusing:

well the manual chop is better for me cuz i can get persice with it!!
then atfer i save it in my rex folder!!
i open reason and load my chopz in the nn-xt!!
never ever in the rex player!!
the nn-xt has way more control and 16 output
