Hey guys, I been struggling between the 2.
I am a computer based musician..and in all honesty Im just using one of these for the sounds..However I would rather have and CAN afford the FULL keyboard instead of the rack. Later On i will purchase a XV module too.

But for now...what is YOUR preference...and spec and pros and cons for the 2?

And maybe....just maybe..if it costs less... to buy BOTH as a rack..and just STILL use my midi controller...I dunno

And also..if i can find a well priced Fantom S...lmfao

Which way should i go... this will be my FIRST keyboard of that standard and kinda like my stepping stool to getting further in production.

BTW i am a hip hop producer and mianly would use it for melodies ya know ?

Hey,

Is the ES even out yet? You may not get a response just yet, I doubt anyone even has one.

Take care,

Nick

I think personally that the motif would be a better buy, but in either case you can't lose.

If your looking for sound quality, the ES is probably your best bet. Also I like the Motif effects alot. Price wise the 61 key is $700 less than the Triton studio too. I'd go with the Motif ES.
Also it supports USB storage devices. Triton studio has the same sounds as the Triton classic which is the same price as motif ES6.
Check out some of the demos at http://www.motifator.com/listen/es/es_listen.php
