Very interesting, and just an FYI, it is easier and easier to make money off your music on the internet, if you have an original mixtape or other original project with your music, there used only be a couple of ways to utlize the net to report your spins to ASCAP or another publisher and get credit to be paid, now unfortunately Myspace won't count in this but nonetheless it would still be a good promo and redirect strategy to one of the sites or medium that do count, there are some other ways and sites that would be able to get you credits for spins and downloads as well as XM programming too so I just thought I would add this note because there are lots of people making money and not so bad from their music including original ringtones too, the industry is very keyed into this also that's why there is a much larger presence of known artist available than ever, they are getting checks off of it in many cases not including sales.

By the way if anyone wants their music to BE a ringtone, I got a number I need to call , supposedly these guys have a company that does that.. Ill call and find out what the deal is hit me up if anyone wants that number!!
