Since im watching it now, I just have to say that The Simpsons is the greatest cartoon of all time. It truly is a great representation of the way a Western society (not just a family) operates and the bullshit our lives are based upon. The stereo type characters shed light on the way we typically act so we can all laugh at ourselves. The simpsons has changed with the times and continues to make relevent social and political comments in a humourous way. I think im going to have to go so far as to say that it is the best show on the box.

South Park comes runner up for best cartoon (even though i hated it for a while when it was a trend) The movie is classic....for how long has the debate over foul language between parents and kids been heated?!. Ill ever forget the episode when Kyle (i think) had to go to hospital cos he wasnt eating meat. He was laying on the bed and all of a sudden morphed into a gigantic vagina...........if you dont eat meat your a pussy.....could the message be any clearer?

Futurama and Mr. Hell also get a mention. Any others I forgot?

I agree with you, for me it's the Simpsons as the greatest. I can't get enough of it, and it really does reflect how screwed up things are today. LOL. I like South Park only for the fact that they get real nasty with the language.

How could you forget Family Guy? That shit's gotta be just under The Simpsons for me. Family Guy just makes me laugh all throughout, like when Peter took a lick of Rum flavored ice cream then went face first through a table. Ahahaha.

If it ain't a cartoon, I usually won't watch it. I wrote my HIgh School Honor's English paper on Japanese Animation. I grew up watching Tranzor Z when I was a kid growing up in the Philipines.

Lately I have been trying to watch a lot of Adult Swim cartoons on Cartoon Network. They have some really funny shit. I think it is on Sunday night really late on TV they have Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2030, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law and The Oblongs.

So far one of the best cartoons I have every seen has to be Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It is sooooo stupid its funny. I think the writers for the show just get really blunted and create each episode. Its worth checkign out if you are into really dumb shit...
