sup my good fellows
i used to use an mpc and on the mpc were functions called TAP TEMPO (simultaneously hod this button and the pad containing the desired sample and it will be sequenced in accordance to the setting in the timing feild) and TIMING - 1/8 & 1/8 (3), 1/16 & 1/16 (3), 1/32 & 1/32 (3), 1/64 & 1/64 (3). the "(3)" represents what i believe are called "tripples" or some shit. it steps into 3 equal parts instead of 2.
ANYWAY...........
i use reason now. ive been finding it annoying when i was to do something such as a very quick snair roll. i have to make the magnification of the sequencer window more magnified then change the timing (of which there is no "(3)" available) and then fiddle with moving the drawn in note back and forth. there is no way to do it without the extra magnification cos the steps are too small...esp on 1/64.
so i want to know if there is an easy way around this. i was hoping for a function in reason which acts similar to that in the mpc.
how do peeps here go about doing triples, fast tap tempos and precise note shifting?
thanks.
