man i cant believe the things i fid on other istes... the source forums have things like "whose the biggest faglord on the site" and "who thinks so-and-so sucks".... there was even a post that said "if ****** starts a thread, just ignore it. dont even read it. whos with me?"

i couldnt believe my eyes on those ones.. i am not making them up!

makes me real grateful for illmuzik....

oh yeah... theres a rumor going around that bone thugs is gona ink a deal with aftermath....... stay tuned on that one. i think they still have an album left on their ruthless deal...

I think part of the reason that you don't see that here because everyone here is production based. SO we take our selves pretty seriously as far as music goes. I mean...we still get loose, but we don't get like those other sites.

For example, when beef gets thick here, people just take it to a battle. That's just our midset. Ain't no one trying to take it to the uneccessary.

I think that fact that you don't really see it exist around here, deters other from bringing it. No one wants to be that one asshole, and we have some mods that just don't let it persist.

The worst case of any forum roasts I've seen here at illmuzik involved myself and Guevara. I think we just miscommunicated somewhere, which is just gonna happen. But I think it was the way we handeled it that set a tone for how things needed to be (and how things didn't need to be) handled around here.

Besides, it hard to find a group of people like we have here at ill that are this dedicated to trying to improve their skills. No one who comes here wants to mess that up. I have no doubt that a few of us here will go on to have sick careers in production and look back and say illmuzik's environment had a lot to do with it.

Lots of sites don't seem to care what happens on their forums and wat the mood is like, at illmuzik it's strict and that keeps us concentrated on the main thing illmuzik is here for share knowledge and improve.

Also the production factor makes things a bit more serious. I think, lots of internet rappers just want to prove they're something by being annoying.

And the members on the forums of illmuzik also control the mood by expressing the purpose of illmuzik to newcomers.

It's a good thing that we learn to discuss and when somebody criticizes you dont take it too personal, this is internet and you might miscomprehend or misreceive the message.. divide and conquer!
