The official Yamaha S03 synth thread

Okay, this thread is for the few (or many) of us who use an S03. What do you usually use it for, and how do you like it?

And I have a personal question, having not read the manual: what the heck is multi mode supposed to do? And is there any way to get rid of the horrible aftertone on the pianos?

I think you and I are the only people who use this on the forum. Iono.

As for the aftertone, I never experienced that, try getting the cabale to connect to the "to host" outlet on the back, and goin into the voice editor and cutting the decay or something.

As of Now, I only use it as a midi controller. thats about it.

darnit. i was hoping to start an S03 revolution. oh well. as for the serial cable, don't got one, and as for the software, don't got it either.

That allows u to use more than one sound from the Yamaha. Like if u had a mpc and u wanted to use 5 sounds then multi mode would come in handy.(more than one midi channel)

I dont havea serial cable either, but the software (lite version...) comes wit the keyboard. I lost mine, but i know u can purchase it online or.... download it..
