Interesting topic I guess we should put a top ten list of the top producers on here for peeps to view at any given time lol! Well I like a lot of the folks already mentioned here and I'm sure there are many more cats that peeps is sleeping on or that haven't been heard yet. To be honest though I can't really put anyone number one or number two for that matter unless I've heard a good amount of what everybody has to offer, but I can say that the guys mentioned by other peeps are very influential and have been keeping very busy, thus are in the public eye so to speak, but by the same token other peeps on here are probably making moves too, but on a different level on their grind! Just answering posts and winning competitions doesn't constitute the best to me (it helps) but the time you spend in the lab perfecting your craft and paying your dues eventually reaching the top! Everybody should give themselves a pat on the back and also a pep talk to themselves to keep grinding harder, make your dreams happen!

i cant say i've heard shit from everyone, or that i've heard much from the people that i have heard, but so far for me it's wings, i regulary get his shit playin while im browsing, he's got a real dope style, i love the laid back ish. after wings, i'd say afrique, for making straight up bangers considering the tools he has to work with also, or holmz, who's just got a pure dope style also.

thnx classic and chedda ... as of right now i couldnt really name one thats the best ..if i was gonna make an album i would get tracks from a number of dudes in here to get a variety of stlyes ...every body got their specialty ..yanowmean? ... when i first joined here there was a large gap between the nice cats and the beginers ..but now that the site is much bigger than it was even at the time of this original post, the gap has closed greatly and it seems like heat is coming from everywhere ... so this was a hard question when it was posted then and i think its even harder now

Id like to give props to : Holmz - everything that comes out seems to be very OG, Wings - even tho hes not aroun much anymore, Merc Waters - a good lyricist as well as producer, Mr. Mess - crazy dj as well as producer - some vibe shit for sure, Hoppa - his shits wild too, and his emcee's are real nice, Stress - plenty of steadfast lyricism to last for days w/ a humbleness of surity that fools cant step on yer music, i like that...And for a newbie - that fool Mega is on some shit!...I dunno about that kat Steezo tho from tha DueceMade Click, his shits kinda wack ya kno!?...lol...

I dunno who is hott on here in the sense because I see a lot who is supposed to be hott.....now theres pretty and well put together beats with nice intros...theres cats good at that, i don't know whether if its not your cup of tea you should have a review because you don't have a basis to critique I see a lot of folks that hear dirty south, or a beat they aint familiar with or don't really listen to a lot of hip hop under or above ground to know how usable a beat really is because they don't have enuff knowledge of MC's and different styles and they instantly will not like it no matter if the beat is hot or whatever, I guarantee whats hot in ya hood is not hott on every block...peeps got too many different tastes...a lot of the beats I hear are very close to sounding like some beat on an acid loop cd or lack soul, structure or life to be honest...so I don't know how much creativity go into some of the tracks...the last beat comp was a good test though....I look for street level gutter grittiness, head bobbability and hell if you play that shidd on a real system not your pc speakers and not your headphones but in a club....willl the crowd get that thump in their chest and does the beat have life....I don't like too many elements in my beats I do my shidd for MC's I don't know the perspective that some others might use other than is that a nice beat....but can an MC use it .....my criteria for what is hott....doesn't make me worthy to make a real call on who on here is hott although there are a few cats that don't really participate that I have heard hott beats from.....Afrique put together a very nice beat in the last comp and overall his ear for transitions and delivery are pretty sharp compared to the first stuff I heaRD SO HE HAS DEFINITELY PROGRESSED to a higher level...he's that up and coming cat that will probably get a big break and we'll read about sometime in the future......
